Summer Entrepreneurial accelerator 2020
Teaching youth entrepreneurial skills
Youth are historically underrepresented in the field of entrepreneurship; a reality which GYE repeatedly helps change. Our Summer Entrepreneurship Accelerator is another step in this battle to realize the full potential of youth across the world.
GYE’s Summer Seminar will cultivate entrepreneurial skills in youth across Portland through a three day camp which focuses on a specific aspect of entrepreneurship on each day. Through lectures, workshops, and real world experiences, the students will learn the intricacies of creative ideation, customer validation, and development of business models. On the final day, these skills will culminate in mock pitches which each participant will create and deliver to a panel of judges.
At the end of the camp, participants can expect to understand the foundational skills of entrepreneurship. Seasoned teachers, investors, and entrepreneurs will equip participants with countless tools that will empower them in their future endeavors.
