Gye Corruption Disruption

Online International Entrepreneurial and Anti-Corruption Experience

The GYE Corruption Disruption, a fusion between the traditional start-up camp and an anti-corruption workshop, will bring together students from Georgia, Lebanon, and Ukraine for a 54 hour online event.

So what will you do?

Form a nationally-diverse team and develop a business, nonprofit organization, product, and/or service that makes a positive impact on the world and addresses corruption or the issues that corruption exposes, while learning entrepreneurial skills that will help you solve tomorrow’s pressing issues.

Brainstorm and discuss, with peers from all three countries, the different ways that corruption has impacted your lives.

Engage in intense ideation, prototyping, market research, networking, and more — all supported by expert mentors.

Pitch expert judges and win a range of different prizes and opportunities.

Learn from distinguished guest speakers, mentors, workshop leaders, and –most importantly– your peers from around the world.

Event Format:

The event will start with a four hour “Bootcamp” on the Sunday before the main weekend of the event. During the Bootcamp, participants will hear from guest speakers, have a chance to network with each other, and start to think about how they can use entrepreneurship to address problems related to corruption. Participants will not have any work to do between the Bootcamp and the following weekend. On Friday, they will be divided into teams and will start the entrepreneurial process! They will have three days to pick an idea, develop it under the guidance of mentors, and pitch it to a panel of judges on Sunday evening.
