Online International Entrepreneurial Experience
GYE Online Innovathon, a new take on the classic startup camp model, will bring together students from across the United States and Ukraine for an online 54 hour entrepreneurial event.
So what will you do?
Develop businesses, nonprofit organizations, products, and services that make a positive impact on the world while learning entrepreneurial skills that will help you solve tomorrow’s pressing issues.
Form or join a team and bring your group’s ideas to life by engaging in intense ideation, prototyping, market research, networking, and more — all supported by expert mentors.
Pitch expert judges and win a range of different prizes and scholarships (including a $1000 USD grand prize!)

Bootcamp: May 24th
Innovathon: May 29-31, 2020 (Pacific Time)
Innovathon: May 30-June 1, 2020 (Ukraine Time)
Details
Over the course of the weekend, participants will:
Experience an entire three day startup-camp through their computer screen
Build relationships with peers and mentors from all around the world
Participate in creative ideation sessions to learn how to take their ideas and form viable companies from them
Work directly with students to enhance communication and cooperation skills
Learn to use visual strategy tools
Engage design-thinking and learn startup methodologies
Learn how to acquire startup capital, make a sustainable business model, and forge a fool-proof plan
Ask questions and get professional feedback from successful entrepreneurs
Participate in a pitching workshop to perfect posture, prose, and communication
Create a mock-organization and pitch it to qualified investors
Prizes
The first-place team will receive 1000 US dollars in seed money as well as access to an international network of GYE mentors to further their company and continue their idea after the event.

Expert Speakers & Panelists
Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine William B. Taylor Jr.
We are honored to have the previous U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor as a keynote speaker for GYE’s inaugural Online Innovathon. After graduating from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and serving in the Vietnam War, Ambassador Taylor earned a Masters in Public Policy from Harvard and served in the U.S. Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and as Ambassador to Ukraine under Presidents George W. Bush, Obama and Trump.
Klitschko Foundation director Alina Nosenko
We are delighted to announce that our Ukrainian keynote speaker is the director of Klitschko Foundation Alina Nosenko. Alina graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Universität St.Gallen (HSG), Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and Carl Friedrich Goerdeler-Kolleg für Good Governance. After getting her German education, Alina interned in German Bundestag. Since 2013, she has been working as director of Klitschko Foundation.
