Hi! I'm Divija Bhimaraju, and I'm a freshman in college. I live in the heart of Silicon Valley, California, equidistant from Apple, Facebook, and Google. Growing up in sunny California, I love windy summers, rain from clear skies, and fancy technology. I enjoy biking, reading (everything from dystopian YA novels to 19th century Russian literature), and creative writing. Performing arts is also a huge part of my life, and I'm very involved in classical indian dancing and western a cappella singing. I'd probably describe myself as curious, creative, and fun-loving, and I enjoy talking about things that make me think, whether that be the Israel-Palestine conflict, the psychology behind human cruelty, or the long-term societal dangers of the plastic surgery trend. I'm super psyched to be involved in this incredible organization and to learn more about what I can do to understand and get involved in issues around the world!
